In most gyms the owner fixes the day’s loose ends at night: missing payments, a member who wanted to renew, a lead nobody called back. A short routine at the desk moves that work to the right person at the right time.
Print this and stick it next to the screen.
At opening (3 minutes)
- Plans ending today and this week. When those members walk in, the desk mentions it before they reach the floor.
- Balances due. Note who owes money and is likely to come in today.
- Follow-ups due. Leads who visited, members who asked about PT, anyone promised a call back.
During the rush
- Check every member in. It takes two seconds, and it’s how you know who’s active and who has quietly stopped coming.
- Collect when the screen says so. If a member has an expired plan or a balance, sort it at the desk, not later on the phone.
- Write down every walk-in who asks about joining: name, mobile, what they asked. That’s your lead list.
At midday (5 minutes)
- Call the follow-ups. Leads from yesterday first: the longer you wait, the colder they get.
- Call members who haven’t come for ten days. “We missed you this week” works better than any offer.
At closing (2 minutes)
- Count the cash and compare it with today’s collections. Do the same for UPI and card. If it doesn’t match, find out now, not at the end of the month.
- Note the day’s expenses. The water can, the cleaning supplies, the plumber.
- Look at tomorrow’s list so the morning shift starts ready.
For the owner, at night
Instead of calling the desk, read one message: how much was collected, how many people came, how many new memberships were sold and how many plans end this week. If the numbers look normal, you’re done.
How Gymint helps
The Gymint dashboard opens on exactly this list: collected today, plans ending, balances, follow-ups due and who’s in the gym now. The check-in screen flags expired plans and balances. And the owner’s daily summary arrives on WhatsApp at the time you choose.
